By booking or using a sunbed at Bronze & Beauty Tanning Studio you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to comply with UK law and guidelines issued by The Sunbed Association (TSA).
Under the Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010, it is illegal for anyone under 18 years of age to use or be offered the use of a sunbed.
Proof of age may be required. We reserve the right to refuse service if valid ID is not provided. If anyone is caught using fake ID to be able to use UV equipment under age, this will be reported.
Our lay-down sunbeds have a maximum user weight limit of 18 stone (114kg / 252lbs). It is the customer's responsibility to check they are within this limit before using a lay-down bed — our team can advise if you're unsure.
Bronze & Beauty Tanning Studio accepts no liability for any injury, discomfort, equipment damage, or other consequence arising from a customer using a lay-down bed while knowingly over the stated weight limit. Customers who exceed the weight limit do so entirely at their own risk.
If a lay-down bed is damaged as a result of a customer exceeding the stated weight limit, we reserve the right to seek compensation from that customer for the cost of repair or replacement.
Bronze & Beauty Tanning Studio accepts no liability for adverse effects caused by failure to follow advice, disclosure of relevant health information, or exceeding recommended usage. This includes, but is not limited to, injury or damage arising from a customer using a lay-down bed while exceeding the stated weight limit.
Customers use our UV equipment at their own risk.
Customers must behave respectfully within our studios. Aggressive, abusive behaviour will result in refusal of service.
We supply cleaning products in all UV Rooms, you can help yourself to these, but we always clean our equipment after every use so all customers enter our UV rooms and know they have been cleaned by our tanning consultants to the highest standards.
Packages and prices may vary from studio to studio. You can use your minutes in any of our studios as a customer, but you cannot buy a course from one studio and use other studios to use the minutes on a permanent basis, anyone doing this will not have the ability to use all studios and will have there account revoked. Price differences are there sometimes because of energy prices in the studio location being different.
Courses are valid for 12 Months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on deals / offers. Unused minutes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you have any medical conditions where UV equipment is advised not to be used, we can freeze your account, but proof may be required.
If you become pregnant we can freeze your account for 12 months.
Courses are NON transferable unless you have a medical condition and you can no longer use our equipment.
Customer information is collected and stored in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
CCTV in our stores are there for safety of our tanning consultants and customers, they are there also for crime prevention and could be used should any crime take place.
By signing our consent form and/or using our services, you confirm that you:
Tanning Services: Refunds are only available for medical reasons upon receipt of a valid medical certificate. All refund requests must be processed through our customer service team at admin@bronzebeautystudio.co.uk, proof of purchase may be required to process a refund.
Lotions: Our lotion return policy allows you to return a lotion to the store in which it was purchased, within 14 days of purchase, if the product is faulty. The return request will then be passed to our Customer Services Team who will review the request during office hours. A refund or exchange may then be offered, provided that the product is faulty and is unused and in the same condition you received it. We reserve the right to refuse returns and refunds.
Please note that a customer lotion storage facility is provided in our stores, this is a gesture of goodwill and we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any losses whatsoever. Any lotion left instore is left at the customers own risk. Customers can leave lotions for a maximum period of 12 months from purchase date. We reserve the right to remove and dispose of lotion without notice after 12 months.
You must keep all property and belongings with you in the studio at all times. It is also the customers responsibility to check the room before leaving to ensure they take all there property with them. Please note that Bronze & Beauty Studio cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to customers property whilst on the premises.

Should you visit one of our studios and it wasn't up to our normal standard, you can email us at complaints@bronzebeautystudio.co.uk.
We reserve the right to refuse use of the sunbeds to anyone who appears underage, is under the influence of drugs/alcohol, fails to disclose health information, or otherwise poses a risk to themselves or others.
Bronze & Beauty Tanning Studio complies with The Sunbed Association’s Code of Practice and UK legislation to ensure the safe use of sunbeds.
